Fink, the indie artist behind hits for John Legend and Amy Winehouse, with his songs arranged for orchestra by Capella Edina.
Fink plays Usher Hall on Thursday 19 November, as part of the Live with Orchestra series presented by Capella Edina. The evening is led by Director of Music Luis Schmidt, with the orchestra accompanying the British indie artist throughout.
Fink is the stage name of Fin Greenall, and the set draws from both his older material and his 2026 album, The City Is Coming to Erase It All. His best-known hits sit alongside selections from the new record, each given new colour in orchestral arrangements crafted specifically for this performance. Woven into the set are three classical works: the cosmos-inspired Lyrae by French contemporary composer Camille Pépin, film composer Michael Hoppé's Renouncement, and music by Peter Maxwell Davies, forging a dialogue between contemporary emotion and timeless expression.
Greenall has written for John Legend and Amy Winehouse, received three BMI Awards, and appeared at both the Electric Proms and the BBC Proms. This performance is part of Capella Edina's Live with Orchestra series, which pairs the ensemble with different artists.
