Line dance class held at Dance For All on St. Stephen Street in Edinburgh.
Dance For All are running a line dance class at their studio on Friday 30 October, starting at 18:30. It's one of those things that's easier to describe as a session than a lesson — you turn up, get into the line, and work through the steps together. If you've never done it before, that's exactly the sort of thing it's for: learning the patterns and getting the footwork right alongside everyone else.
Line dancing is all about the group, with everyone dancing the same choreographed sequence at the same time, so you don't need a partner to join in. It's a social way to spend a Friday evening in the city, and since it's a class, the focus is on getting the moves down rather than performing them. You'll be working through the steps together, so it's as much about the company as the dancing.
