Weekly, free Alcoholics Anonymous meeting for LGBTQ+ people aged 16 and over, held every Tuesday at LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
LGBTQ AA meets at LGBT Health and Wellbeing on Tuesday 27 October, from 19:45 to 20:45. It's a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting run by the charity, and it's open to LGBTQ+ people aged 16 and over who think or know they have a problem with drinking. The group is led by community members with support from the charity, and it welcomes the full diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community — including non-binary, queer, intersex and asexual people, as well as anyone still unsure of their orientation or gender identity.
It's a weekly thing, so if the 27th doesn't work, there's another session on Tuesday 3 November, and it keeps going from there. You can join in person or online, which is handy if you can't make it into the city that evening. The venue is the Duncan Place Community Hub, 4 Duncan Place, Edinburgh, EH6 8HW. As part of their safer spaces commitment, the hub has an all-gender toilet, wheelchair access and gender-neutral toilets, so it's set up to be accessible and welcoming for whoever walks through the door.

LGBT Health and Wellbeing also runs a wider programme of free LGBTQ+ meetups and support groups across Scotland, so this is one of several things they have going on. The meeting itself is free, and it runs every Tuesday from 19:45 to 20:45.
