Queen tribute band Killer Queen, fronted by Patrick Myers, recreates the high-energy live shows of Queen at the Usher Hall.
Killer Queen play Usher Hall on Saturday 9 January 2027, bringing their tribute to Queen to the West End of Edinburgh. The show starts at 19:30, and tickets are from £30.60, which includes a 10% per-ticket booking fee.
They've been at this since June 1993, when the band formed and played its first public shows at London University. By 1995 they'd secured a residency at London's Strand Theatre, making them the first tribute act to stage in the West End, and in 1999 they were named 'Worldwide Best Tribute Band' at a ceremony in Leicester Square. Frontman Patrick Myers, a tenor with a three-and-a-half octave range, has earned the group the title of 'Queen tribute royalty' for their musicianship, energy and portrayal of the original band live.
Beyond the stage, they've worked their way into the wider music scene. In 2001 they scored a number-one hit recreating Queen's harmonies for Fatboy Slim's 'The Real Life', and in 2009 they staged 'Queen Spectacular' at Ahoy Stadium. They were also chosen to represent Queen at a re-staged LiveAid concert held by Sir Bob Geldof. They've played arenas like Red Rocks in Colorado and tour the USA every year.
