Over-18s only show of Jill Andrews, the Nashville singer-songwriter behind the theme of 'Wynonna Earp', at The Voodoo Rooms.
Jill Andrews plays The Voodoo Rooms on Tuesday 10 November, one of a series of intimate shows she's bringing to Edinburgh. It's a solo bill, so the whole night is hers.
She's been making melodic, genre-bending music for nearly two decades. She started out in the band Everybodyfields, then moved into a critically acclaimed solo career, and more recently co-founded Hush Kids, a project she shares with Nashville songwriter and producer Peter Groenwald. Her songwriting pulls from a wide range of influences: Joni Mitchell, Diana Ross and The Beatles sit alongside contemporaries like Gregory Alan Isakov and St. Vincent.
Much of her work has found its way into American television. Her songs have backed Grey's Anatomy, This Is Us, Nashville and Wynonna Earp, for which she composed the theme. She also recorded a cover of Starship's 'We Built This City' with aron wright, which was used on Hulu's Paradise. She lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee.
