Talk by Cecilia Righini of Studio Lutalica on inclusive and accessible design in the age of AI, part of Tribe Porty's 'Tribe Talks' series.
Cecilia Righini (they/them) brings Inclusive Design in the Age of AI to Tribe Porty CIC on Monday 7 December, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It's part of the venue's 'Tribe Talks: Get to Know Your Tribe' series, which is run by the community and built around the knowledge and skills of the people who use the space.
Righini is the founder and creative director of Studio Lutalica, an Edinburgh-based queer and feminist-led design studio and social enterprise. Their work sits at the intersection of design, accessibility and social justice, and they speak and facilitate on inclusivity, accessible design practices and the role of human judgement in creative work. The talk is framed as a hopeful but honest exploration of whether creative AI tools will repeat old biases or help designers make more accessible, thoughtful choices, and it includes practical takeaways for your own work.
