HUSTLE Edinburgh Entrepreneur Networking Event

HUSTLE Edinburgh is back at O'Neills Edinburgh on Wednesday 14 April, from 5pm to 8pm. It's a networking event for founders and entrepreneurs, and it's part of a regular run: it happens on the second Wednesday of every month except December, so if you can't make this one, there's usually another just a few weeks on.

The organisers describe it as the city's most action-oriented networking event for ambitious founders, aimed at people who are building or starting a business. The pitch is straightforward: a room in which to find a co-founder, a first investor or a major client, with fast-paced, founder-focused mingling and the promise of three to five valuable new connections. It's less about the small talk and more about the actual work of getting a company off the ground.

That focus on founders is the whole point. If you're in the middle of starting something, the room is meant to be full of people in the same boat, which makes it easier to find the specific kind of help or partnership you're looking for. The second-Wednesday slot means it's a regular fixture in the city's startup calendar, and since it runs monthly, you can drop in when it suits you rather than feeling you've missed your only chance.

Practical side: it's free to attend, though space is limited, so it's worth getting there early. There's an expectation to buy a full-priced drink at the bar, and since the venue is a smart-wear pub, you'll need ID at the door. That puts it at O'Neills Edinburgh, 9 Hunter Square, EH1 1QW, from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday 14 April.
