Relaxed in-person networking event with round-the-room introductions, coffee or tea and a business card raffle, hosted by Colin McKeand.
Coffee Connections is back at The Alchemist George Street on Wednesday 4 November, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. It's one of Edinburgh's best-known in-person networking events, run by Edinburgh Connections as a welcoming space open to everyone regardless of background. If you've never been, the format is intentionally relaxed: round-the-room networking over coffee or tea, with the host sharing updates and running a business card raffle. It's less of a formal pitch session and more of a morning spent chatting with people you wouldn't usually cross paths with.
That's the main draw here. You'll meet professionals from a wide range of industries, and the morning is as much about finding new customers as it is about peer support, suppliers, and collaborations. Because it's open to everyone, the room tends to pull in a good mix of roles and sectors rather than just one particular crowd. Colin McKeand hosts the session, keeping things moving and handling the raffle.

It's a mid-morning slot, so it works well if you're looking to get some networking in before the proper working day kicks off. The room capacity is capped at 70 guests, so it stays manageable rather than becoming an overwhelming crowd. Tickets run from free up to £27.80 via Eventbrite, and it all takes place at The Alchemist George Street, 51 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 2HT, on Wednesday 4 November from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
