80s pop icons Hue and Cry play the Usher Hall with support from Roachford on their Full Band Scottish Tour 2026.
Hue and Cry are playing the Usher Hall on Saturday 24 October, with Roachford on support. It's a full-band show, part of their Full Band Scottish Tour 2026, so they'll be out in force rather than as a stripped-back act.
If you're not familiar with the name, Hue and Cry are the Scottish duo formed in 1984 by brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane. They made a real mark with their 1987 debut album Seduced and Abandoned, which gave them their first top ten single, 'Labour of Love'. The follow-up, Remote, brought 'Looking for Linda' and 'Violently', and they kept going through the 90s with albums like Stars Crash Down, Showtime and Jazz Not Jazz. Over the years they've put out 15 studio albums and sold more than two million records worldwide, sharing stages with U2, James Brown, Madonna, Al Green and Van Morrison.
They've also had a bit of a second life in the public eye. In 2005 they were finalists on ITV's Hit Me Baby One More Time, where they did a version of Beyoncé's 'Crazy In Love' that brought them back into the mainstream. More recently, the brothers were given the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2025 Scottish Music Awards, so this tour comes at a time when they're being recognised for the long haul.
