Free in-person housing advice tour stop by Housing Options Scotland, with morning sessions for individuals and afternoon sessions for housing sector professionals.
Housing Options Scotland are bringing their tour to Norton Park Conference Centre on Wednesday 28 October, one of five Scottish cities they're visiting in 2026. It's a double-session day, with a morning slot from 10am to 12.30pm and an afternoon one from 1.30pm to 4pm, and the two are aimed at different crowds: the morning is for individuals looking for housing advice, and the afternoon is for housing sector professionals.
If you're not familiar with them, Housing Options Scotland is the only housing advice charity working across every local authority in Scotland and across all tenures, from homelessness to home ownership. Their team of expert brokers offers person-centred support and free advice on selling and buying, private or social renting, sheltered housing, housing for older adults, adapting your home, veterans housing and homelessness. They also provide training and consultancy to housing associations, local authorities and third sector organisations.
Chief Executive Moira Bayne says the tour lets the charity meet people face-to-face to help them navigate a complex housing system. That's the core of it: getting expert advice in person rather than over the phone or through a screen, especially when you're dealing with something as personal and complicated as where you live.
