Vampire-themed Halloween party with music and drinks at the People's Leisure Club on Lothian Street.
Heartburn Halloween takes over People's Leisure Club on Friday 30 October, running from 10 pm until 3 am. It's a late one, starting well after midnight and carrying on into the early hours, so it's more of a night out than a typical evening gig.
The New Wave Times bills it as 'the grooviest vampire freakfest in Scotland', a night of music, drinks and good vibes aimed at party-goers. The organisers describe it as a Halloween event, and the 'vampire freakfest' tag gives you a fair idea of the dress code they're after, so if you're planning on coming as something, this is the kind of night for it.
General admission is £6, and there's an unwaged admission ticket for £3 in limited quantities, so if you're on a tight budget, that's the one to look for. The organisers have put out a warning that spots fill up fast and there are no refunds on tickets, so it's worth getting yours sorted sooner rather than later if you're keen.
