Free group Transmission Meditation held at the full moon at The Salisbury Centre, run by volunteers from Share International.
The Salisbury Centre hosts another Full Moon With Transmission Meditation on Monday 26 October, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, in the Art Room. It's part of a monthly cycle, with a group meditation held around the full moon each time. The session centres on Transmission Meditation, which the organisers describe as both a potent form of service and a powerful means of personal growth.
The Edinburgh Transmission Meditation Group and Share International hold that the full moon is a particularly important time for receiving and distributing spiritual energy, and that these full moon transmissions will grow in significance as humanity enters the New Age of Aquarius. Groups around the world mark these full moons with group meditations, linked by a shared aspiration to serve the needs of the world.
The work is run entirely by volunteers with Share International, a non-profit, non-denominational worldwide network whose educational work seeks to stimulate practical action to rebuild the world along more just and compassionate lines. The Salisbury Centre itself is an Edinburgh community centre open to all who wish to develop their spiritual, psychological and creative life, with a programme of courses, workshops, lectures, meditations and one-to-one therapeutic work.
