Solo show by Francis Rossi, former frontman of Status Quo, with his own selections from his catalogue and commentary, joined by guitarist Andy Brook.
Francis Rossi plays The Queen's Hall on Sunday 1 November, his only Edinburgh date this autumn. Most know him as the frontman of Status Quo, but this is a solo show, and it's billed as the only place to hear his own selections and interpretations from his catalogue, rounded out with commentary and anecdotes from the man himself. He'll be joined on guitar by Andy Brook, who co-produced the critically acclaimed 2026 album The Accidental and also featured on the sold-out 2025 Songbook tour.
The set is described as a journey through the career of a one-off artist, taking in a host of all-time favourites alongside some unexpected gems. Between the songs, Rossi will be talking through the material, so it's as much about the stories behind the music as the playing itself. If you've followed his work for years, it's a chance to hear the songs he chooses to pull out, rather than the setlist you'd expect from a Quo gig.
There's also a strictly limited VIP Soundcheck Experience available. It includes soundcheck access, an exclusive performance of two songs not in the main show, a stage and technical rundown with Rossi's sound engineer, the best seat in the house, a limited-edition signed 7" single and an exclusive tour lanyard. It's a fair bit extra, but it gives you a look at how the night is put together before the doors even open.
