Storytelling evening in which Beverley Bryant weaves dark and haunting tales from Scottish tradition.
Beverley Bryant brings a folklore evening to The Royal Scots Club on Thursday 29 October, with the night focusing on dark and haunting tales. It's presented by the club itself, and the whole thing is open to all ages, so it works as a night out with friends or something to bring the family along to.
Bryant is one of Scotland's most celebrated and accomplished storytellers. She's been a member of the Scottish Storytelling Directory of Professional Storytellers for nearly two decades and has served as Chair of the Scottish Storytelling Forum. For this evening, she draws on the rich and often chilling depths of Scottish tradition, weaving together the kind of dark, haunting tales that have enchanted audiences at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival, Linlithgow Palace and the National Library of Scotland.
