Soul night with Flirting with Alison, supported by Rosa and the Lambs and Katie Lindsay, at The Wee Red Bar.
Flirting with Alison are back at The Wee Red Bar on Friday 6 November, playing soul in one of Edinburgh's grassroots venues. They're returning with their original line-up and more, so it's the band as you'll remember them, just with a few extra hands on deck.
They're not alone on the bill. Rosa and the Lambs and Katie Lindsay are both on the night, so there's more than one act to catch. The whole thing is soul, from the headliner down, and it's all in one room.
The Wee Red Bar is one of those small, independent rooms — pubs, basement bars and indie clubs — that keep the city's live scene going. It's right in the city centre, about ten minutes' walk from the Princes Street tram stop, which makes it an easy one to get to if you're coming in from further out. If you've spent any time in the city's smaller venues, you'll know the sort of place it is: a proper grassroots room where the music stays front and centre.
