Six-piece Fleetwood Mac tribute band Fleeting Rumours plays the band's back catalogue, from Peter Green to 'Rumours', at La Belle Angele.
Fleeting Rumours are playing La Belle Angele on Friday 26 February, a six-piece tribute to Fleetwood Mac. They're touring the UK, playing theatres, festivals, live music venues, hotels and cruises, and this is their Edinburgh stop.
The set runs across the whole of Fleetwood Mac's back catalogue. It starts with the early Peter Green years, with songs like 'Black Magic Woman' and 'Oh Well', and goes through to the 70s and 80s hits that made the band global stars, including 'Dreams', 'Go Your Own Way' and 'Everywhere'. The show leans on Rumours, the album that's sold over 100 million copies worldwide, and also works in Stevie Nicks' solo career with tracks like 'Edge of Seventeen'. It's a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Rumours.
Fleeting Rumours describe themselves as the North's premier tribute to Fleetwood Mac, a six-piece of seasoned musicians and singers who bring the band's vocals, guitars, keyboards and drums to an exceptional level of authenticity. They've put together a line-up that covers the different eras of the band, from the bluesy early days to the pop-rock that defined their later years.
