Charity flower festival with refreshments, craft displays and live music held by Blackhall St Columba's Church to support the Tour de 4 cycle event.
Blackhall St Columba's Church is hosting its Festival of Flowers over the autumn bank holiday weekend, from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November. It's a charity fundraiser, and the whole thing is in support of the 'Tour de 4' cycle event, which Sir Chris Hoy set up after his diagnosis with Stage 4 cancer in 2023. The money raised over the three days goes to five cancer charities nominated by the cycle event: Prostate Cancer UK, Breast Cancer Now, Maggie's, Cure Leukaemia and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Inside the church, the floral displays are the main draw, but there's more to it than just the flowers. You'll find craft displays and live music running across the weekend, with refreshments on hand to keep you going. It's the kind of thing you can drift in and out of over the course of the three days rather than feeling you have to do it all in one go.
