Halloween freshers party for new students at The Liquid Room, with two rooms of DJs, Halloween performers, free t-shirts and sweets.
F*CK ME It's Halloween takes over The Liquid Room on Monday 26 October, the big Halloween special for the Edinburgh Freshers season. It's run by Your Freshers Guide, the UK's biggest student events company, now in its 16th year. They've had four straight years of sold-out freshers shows, and they're back at The Liquid Room for this one, which they're billing as the biggest student Halloween party in Edinburgh.
The plan is to turn the venue into an immersive nightclub with monstrous Halloween revelry, terrifying Halloween-themed performers, a sweet stall, free t-shirts, free sweets and huge giveaways, alongside cheap student drinks and some of the city's biggest DJs. The music is split across two rooms: the main room plays chart, commercial, house, mashups and dance, while Room 2 is dedicated to hip hop, R&B, dancehall and Afrobeats. If you're not sure which one to stick to, you can just drift between them.
It's an 18+ night, so you'll need a valid photo ID to get in. Tickets are transferable or refundable if you don't get into your first-choice university, which is a handy bit of cover if you're still waiting on your placement. The first 100 tickets have already gone, so if you're planning on it, it's worth getting yours sorted sooner rather than later.
