London rock n' roll band Fat Dog return with new music and a riotous live show at The Queen's Hall.
Fat Dog play The Queen's Hall on Wednesday 3 February, their first Edinburgh show in a while. They're coming back with new music and a full set, and this is one of the biggest dates of their tour across the UK and Europe.
If you've never come across them, Fat Dog are a London outfit that formed during lockdown and quickly made a name for themselves as one of the most energetic and gloriously rowdy live bands on the DIY music scene. They've been described as "the rarest of jewels, a good rock n' roll band" — a hard thing to pin down, but one that comes through the moment they start playing. The band is led by chief rabble-rouser Joe Love and has grown into a seven-piece, so there's a fair bit of noise behind them.
They're returning after a period of calm, and they're doing it with renewed ferocity and new music to go with it. The night is billed as a riotous live experience, which is a fair warning about the kind of energy they bring to the stage. It's for ages 14 and over only, and anyone aged 14 to 17 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
