Free exhibition of photographs by Palestinian photographers, presented by the Network of Photographers for Palestine, on the effects of the Occupation on children.
Palestine's Children opens at Out Of The Blue Drill Hall on Tuesday 17 November, running through to Saturday 20 November. It's a collection of images by a range of Palestinian photographers, brought together by the Network of Photographers for Palestine.
The exhibition gathers work from across the group to show the effects of the Occupation on the lives of children in Palestine. Rather than a single photographer's perspective, it's a shared effort, with different voices contributing to the same subject.
It's hosted at Out Of The Blue Drill Hall (36 Dalmeny Street, Leith EH6 8RG), which is run by Out Of The Blue, an independent cultural social enterprise and one of Scotland's leading community, cultural and arts development organisations. Their mission is to give artists and others who face barriers to creativity a place to meet, work, participate, learn and pass their skills on to the local community. The Out Of The Blue Arts and Education Trust is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status, with two trading subsidiaries, The Bongo Club Ltd and Out Of The Blue Productions.
