Rachel & Holli play Usher Hall on Monday 7 December, a fiddle and accordion duo performing together in one of Edinburgh's biggest rooms. It's a straightforward pairing — just the two of them on stage, fiddle and accordion, and that's the whole of the bill for the night.
They're playing at Usher Hall on Lothian Road, which sits right in the city's cultural quarter, flanked by the Royal Lyceum and the Traverse theatres. The building is an Edwardian concert hall that went through a major modern make-over and extension back in 2010, and it's one of the city's premier venues, hosting everything from classical music and rock and pop to dance, spoken word and live events. For headline shows, it can hold up to 2,200 people.
