Halloween-themed pub crawl through Old Town bars and clubs, with energetic guides, fast-track entry, drink deals and a photographer.
On the Rocks Bar Crawl are running a Halloween special starting at Pilgrim Bar on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, from 21:00. It's a two-night thing, so you can pick whichever evening suits you best.
The format is straightforward: energetic guides lead the way through five or six of the best bars and clubs in the Old Town, with fast-track entry at every venue and exclusive drink deals along the route. There's a photographer on hand throughout the night, too, so you'll come away with a few shots of the evening. The organisers make a point of introducing people and getting everyone to mix, which works as well if you're flying solo as if you're turning up in a group; they say people often arrive not knowing a soul and leave with new friends and at least one photo they'd probably rather their mother never saw. Ridiculous costumes are very much encouraged, and the organisers claim a number one TripAdvisor ranking for nightlife in Edinburgh.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It kicks off at Pilgrim Bar, 3 Robertson's Close, Cowgate, EH1 1LY, and from there you'll be moving through the Old Town. The whole thing costs £15 total, with a £7.50 deposit to book your spot and the remaining £7.50 balance to pay on the door, where both card and cash are accepted. Just remember to bring a valid driving licence or passport for entry.
