Halloween-themed collage workshop by the Edinburgh Collage Club, open to beginners and experienced makers, with art materials and drinks included.
Edinburgh Collage Club are back at North Merchiston Club on Friday 30 October, with a session they've titled Into The Dark. It runs from 6pm to 8pm, two hours of cutting and pasting on a Friday evening.
The night is part of the club's 'Collage Community', a series of crafty workshops open to everyone from experienced practitioners to total beginners. This one leans into the spooky season with a Halloween theme, so it's a good time to get your hands on some paper and glue if you've been wanting to try it. All the art materials are included, so you don't need to bring anything but yourself.
Drinks and snacks are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own if you've got a particular preference. The club runs its sessions on a donation basis: the suggested amount is £5.50, which covers the space hire and the materials, and anything extra is reinvested into future events. It's a low-pressure way to spend a couple of hours making something, and you'll leave with whatever you've put together.
