Del Amitri celebrate 40 years of hits with their Past To Present UK tour at the Usher Hall.
Del Amitri are back in Scotland on Tuesday 1 December, playing the Usher Hall on Lothian Road. It's one of the dates on their Past to Present UK tour, which they've described as a celebration of 40 years of hits. The Edinburgh show is part of a 17-date run across the UK, and the tour title itself—Past to Present: Four Decades Of Their Greatest Music—gives a fair idea of what they're planning: a set drawn from four decades of songs, stories and live shows.
It's a Scottish-heavy run. Before the tour wraps up, they're playing Perth, Aberdeen and Dundee, and the whole thing culminates in a return to the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, which they call their spiritual home. So the Edinburgh date is one of several stops on home soil, rather than a one-off visit.
