Actor and musician Damian Lewis plays La Belle Angele with guest Lewis McLaughlin on his UK tour 'Sweet Chaos'.
Damian Lewis plays La Belle Angele on Wednesday 21 October, as part of a UK tour he's calling Sweet Chaos. It's a small Scottish run presented by Regular Music, with another date at Òran Mór in Glasgow.
Most of us know Lewis as an actor, but he's also a musician, and this is a night for the music. He'll be performing with guest Lewis McLaughlin, and the set is built around the storytelling songs of his debut album, Mission Creep, which came out in 2023. Those songs lean on 50s rock-n-roll, Americana and jazz, with acoustic guitar and piano at the front. The wider sound he works in blends rootsy rock, blues, folk and jazz-tinged adult alternative, so the evening should pull from a few different places.
