Monthly business networking lunch over a two-course curry at Chaophraya Thai Restaurant, hosted by Colin McKeand.
Curry Connections is back at Chaophraya Thai Restaurant on Friday 6 November, the first Friday of the month. It's a business networking lunch run by Edinburgh Connections and hosted by Colin McKeand, who's well known around the group for keeping a 'Networking Event Naughty List' for no-shows. The format is simple: you gather round the table for a two-course curry lunch and spend the time connecting with entrepreneurs and people from across the Edinburgh area and beyond.
The room welcomes businesses of every size and background, and business cards are encouraged. It's not a formal pitch session; it's just a long lunch with a room full of people who'd rather talk shop over a curry than in a boardroom. Past attendees have called it 'fantastic' and said that networking over curry 'just can't get any better'.

Chaophraya is on the 4th floor of 33 Castle Street, right in the city centre, so it's easy to get to from wherever you're coming from. The session runs from 12:30 to 14:00, and attendees are asked to arrive from 12:15 to get settled before things kick off. It's free to attend, and that covers your two-course lunch and water; any extra refreshments you order on the day are paid separately at the venue. These sessions tend to fill up and often run a waiting list, so if you're planning to go, it's worth getting your name in early.
