Free business networking lunch with a two-course curry at Chaophraya Thai Restaurant, held on the first Friday of every month.
Curry Connections is back at Chaophraya Thai Restaurant on Friday 4 December, the next in a series of business networking lunches run by Edinburgh Connections. It's hosted by Colin McKeand, and the format is straightforward: everyone gathers round the table for a curry and spends the lunch connecting with entrepreneurs and people from across the Edinburgh area and beyond.
The room tends to draw a diverse range of businesses, and the organisers encourage everyone to bring business cards along. It's the kind of thing that works better the more people you're open to talking to, so it's worth having a few on you. The sessions are popular and frequently fully booked, with a waiting list when tickets run out, so if you're thinking of going, it's best to get your name down sooner rather than later.
There's a bit of a code of conduct to keep in mind here. You're asked to treat your booking like a client appointment and show up; failing to do so can land you a no-show charge and a place on Colin's 'Networking Event Naughty List'. People who've been have described it as 'fantastic' and 'well worth the journey'.

Chaophraya is on the 4th floor of 33 Castle Street, EH2 3DN. The lunch starts at 12:30, and attendees are asked to arrive from 12:15. It's free, which covers a two-course lunch and water; any additional refreshments you order are paid for separately at the venue. These sessions run on the first Friday of every month.
