Country Day Party

Country Day Party comes to Club Tropicana on Saturday 21 November, a daytime session that brings country music to the dance floor. It runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, with last entry at 5:00pm, so it's a late afternoon rather than a late night.

The afternoon is built around a country DJ, line dancing sessions and a singalong of country hits. The music draws on chart-topping modern country, with the set pulling from artists like Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban, alongside the older names that defined the sound: Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. It's a broad reach, from the current charts back to the early classics.

The organisers pitch it as boot-scootin' fun, with drinks and merch giveaways along the way. It's marketed as a daytime party suited to stag, hen and birthday groups, or just a day out with friends. Entry is restricted to over-18s, and you'll need valid photographic ID at the door.

Tickets are £12.50 to £17.50, with festival-style tiered pricing, and a discounted Big Group Package for groups of ten or more. Club Tropicana is at 23 Lothian Rd, Edinburgh EH1 2DJ.
