Daytime disco with 70s, 80s and retro dance tunes, spooky Halloween decor and giveaways for the over-30s crowd at Club Tropicana.
Disco Days is back at Club Tropicana on Saturday 31 October, and this time it's a Halloween special. If you've come across them before, you'll know the basic setup: it's a daytime disco, so the dancing happens in the afternoon rather than the middle of the night. They describe themselves as 'Scotland's original and favourite day disco', a session built for the over-30s crowd and families who want to party through the afternoon and be home by around 9pm. It's a good shout if you fancy a dance but don't want to be out until the early hours.
The music stays in the retro groove, with 70s, 80s and retro dance tunes running all afternoon. For this Halloween edition, they're adding full spooky decor to the room and giveaways throughout the session, so it's a bit more than just the usual set. It's the kind of thing that works as well with a group of friends as it does with the kids in tow.
