Paint and Sip - Cowgirl Blossoms | The Alchemist

Paintvine are running a Cowgirl Blossoms paint and sip session at The Alchemist George Street on Saturday 31 October, from 12:00 to 14:00. It's a two-hour slot in the middle of the day, so it works as a proper Saturday activity rather than a late one.

The format is straightforward: a skilled artist leads the group through the featured painting step by step, so you're never left wondering what to do next. That said, you're not locked into following along — anyone who prefers to go their own way is free to create their own artwork instead. No prior painting experience is needed, and the session is designed to suit complete beginners as much as experienced painters. It's built for social, judgment-free creativity, which is a good way of saying you can just show up and enjoy yourself without worrying about the end result.

All the kit is provided on the day: acrylic paints, brushes, aprons and a stretched canvas. The venue takes photos throughout to post on its social pages and handles the clean-up, so you just carry your finished masterpiece home. Drinks aren't included in the ticket price, but you can buy them at the bar as you go. The session is restricted to over-18s, and the ticket is £32.00.
