Chris Packham brings his live show, opening an encyclopaedia of stories from his life and sharing specimens from his own collection.
Chris Packham brings World of Wonder: A Planet on the Edge to Usher Hall on Friday 27 November, as part of a UK tour running from 23 October to 1 December. Packham has been a voice for nature in the UK for nearly forty years, with work on The Really Wild Show, Springwatch, Inside Our Autistic Minds and Earth.
The show follows the format of his live appearances, opening an encyclopaedia of stories drawn from a lifetime of curiosity and conviction. It starts in a childhood bedroom filled with fox skulls, birds' eggs and jars of tadpoles, and moves through the wild adventures that shaped his love of the natural world. From there, it turns to the practical things we can all do to make a difference in a time of crisis.
It's not just talk, either. You'll see extraordinary specimens from his own collection up close, hear untold stories from behind the camera and share in his passion for the living world. The Edinburgh date is one stop on a tour that stretches across the UK from late October through to the start of December.
