Beginner-friendly guided workshop at BRSHES Edinburgh to preserve pressed flowers in epoxy resin.
BRSHES Edinburgh is running a pressed flower epoxy resin workshop on Sunday 25 October, at their studio at 197 Gilmore Place. It's a hands-on session where you'll learn how to preserve pressed flowers in resin, so you'll walk away with something you've actually made rather than just watching someone else do it. If that date doesn't work, there's another session listed for Sunday 22 November.
To get a feel for the place, BRSHES Edinburgh is an independent drop-in craft studio and gift shop. They run weekly guided workshops alongside a menu of make-your-own kits and a curated selection of artisan gifts, so it's more of a creative hub than a one-off class. They frame crafting as a way to unwind, explore your creative potential and socialise, and they describe art as something not restricted to any particular type of person. Learning a new skill is pitched as lighthearted, fun and therapeutic, which is a nice way to look at it if you're just doing this for the pleasure of it.

Every session is beginner-friendly and taught by a professional artist who guides you through the process and encourages you to take the work in your own direction, so you don't need to have ever touched resin before. The studio is also available for private hire, which they suggest for things like hen dos, birthdays or group celebrations if you'd rather bring your own crowd. The workshop runs from BRSHES Edinburgh, 197 Gilmore Place, Edinburgh EH3 9PW.
