Festive family breakfast with sharing platters and pancakes, interactive magic and comedy from Tricky Ricky and a visit with Santa.
Breakfast With Santa returns to Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh on Saturday 19 December, one of the city's long-running festive family traditions. It's a morning out that combines a proper sit-down breakfast with a bit of entertainment for the kids, and it's back in the same spot it usually holds each Christmas.
The food is the first part of the morning: generous breakfast sharing platters for the table, with pancakes for the little ones. While you're eating, the local entertainer Tricky Ricky takes over with interactive magic, comedy and Christmas fun aimed at both the children and the adults. Once the food and the show have run their course, Santa's elves guide each family through a one-to-one visit with Father Christmas himself, so the kids get a proper moment with him rather than just a quick wave from across the room.

It's a straightforward setup—breakfast, a bit of magic and comedy, and a visit with Santa—all under one roof. The organisers warn that tickets sell out every year and advise booking early, so if you're planning to take the family along, it's worth getting your spot sorted well before December. The morning runs from 8:30am to 11am at the Hard Rock Cafe on 20 George Street, and tickets range from free up to £27.27.
