Family Christmas morning at Coffee Saints with reindeer pancakes or a cooked breakfast for children, a filled breakfast roll for adults, a gift from Santa and a photo with him.
Breakfast with Santa comes to Coffee Saints on Saturday 5 December, a family session for all ages that runs from 9:30am to 11:30am, with doors opening at 9:15am. The children's breakfast is £15 and the adults' is £10.
For the kids, there's a choice between reindeer pancakes or a small cooked breakfast, served with juice, a gift from Santa and a photo with him. The adults get a filled breakfast roll and a filter coffee or tea, before meeting Santa and his cheeky elf. It's a morning that works for the whole family, so you can bring the little ones along and have your own breakfast while they get their turn with the big man.
It's worth knowing a bit about the venue, too. Coffee Saints is Edinburgh's newest social enterprise café, run by the Grassmarket Community Project, a charity that supports some of the city's most vulnerable citizens and puts all profit from purchases back into its work. Beyond the coffee, they do cold drinks, milkshakes, frappes, meals, light bites and cakes, and there's a retail space with candles, handmade Greyfriars Tartan products and small wooden gifts. They also host other events, like the Syrian Supper Club run with Cyrenians and award-winning chef Noura Selibi.
