Bongo's Bingo, the UK's original bingo rave, brings dance-offs, sing-alongs and big prizes to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.
Bongo's Bingo is back at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange this autumn, with six dates running from late October through to mid-December. It's the UK's original bingo rave, and it's an award-winning twist on the traditional game: it sticks to the original rules but adds rave intervals, awkward dance-offs, sing-a-longs, big money and ridiculous prizes. The press has been on board too, with the Evening Standard calling it 'a riotous night you won't forget in a hurry' and Heat World describing it as 'the craze that is quite literally sweeping the nation'.
If you've never been, the format is pretty straightforward. You play bingo as you'd expect, but the gaps between the numbers are filled with a rave, dance-offs, and sing-a-longs. There's big money and ridiculous prizes on the line, so it's as much about the winning as it is about the chaos in between. It's a long way from a quiet afternoon in a community hall.
There are plenty of dates to choose from, so you can pick whatever fits your schedule. The first is Friday 23 October, with doors at 18:00 and a curfew of 23:15. Then it's Saturday 14 November, doors at 16:00 and curfew 21:15. After that, there's Friday 20 November, Saturday 28 November, Friday 11 December and Saturday 12 December, all with doors at 18:00 and a curfew of 23:00. That's six nights across three months, so there's plenty of room to get a group together.
