Bird and Blend Tea Co. are running a tea blending workshop for two at their Edinburgh shop on Monday 26 October. It's a session for two people to spend about two and a half hours blending their own tea, and it's run by Taylor, who manages the Edinburgh store and leads the shop's tea mixology workshops and tea lock-ins.
The shop itself is lined with over 100 loose-leaf blends, including award winners like Sticky Chai and Strawberry Lemonade. There's also an Edinburgh exclusive, Edinburgh Rock, a white tea packed with apple, rosehip and raspberry. The company started out in a Brighton bedroom, where founders Krisi and Mike packed tea by hand and took it to markets while studying Politics at university. Since then it's grown into a B Corp with multiple retail stores and an international online shop, run by a team of house tea mixologists.

Beyond the blending, there's a bit more to the business. They run Teas for Trees, which has planted 318,583 trees, and ChariTEA, which has raised £355,248 for more than 30 good causes. The workshop is £80 for two, and it's available Monday through Sunday year-round, with 12 months' validity from the date of purchase.
