Vernon Kay brings his BBC Radio 2 dance show to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange with a playlist of the greatest 90s dance and rave tunes.
Vernon Kay brings BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Friday 27 November, as part of a UK tour that runs from November 2026 through November 2027. Kay hosts the dance show on BBC Radio 2, and this is that show taken on the road.
He describes the night as a record box time machine that lands you back in the hedonistic days of house phones, Sega Megadrives, Sony Discmans and raves in fields. The set is built on the sounds of that era: big Italo piano hooks, glorious trance riffs and massive singalong vocals. It's a trip through the 90s dance playlist, and Kay encourages everyone to dig out their classic rave outfits for the occasion.
The Edinburgh date is one stop on a national tour that stretches from late 2026 well into 2027, so it's one of many dates across the UK. If you've spent any time with the radio show, you'll have a good idea of the ground it covers.
