Three-hour seminar on the UK farming industry, covering policy, legislation, economics and the future of UK agriculture.
The Andersons Centre are bringing their annual seminar to the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on Friday 12 March 2027. This year's session is called Prospects for UK Agriculture, and it runs from 10 am to 1 pm — three hours in total.
If you're not familiar with how these work, the Andersons Seminars are a regular fixture for the farming community. They've been running for 26 years, and each year they draw over 700 delegates across their UK locations, with more than 97.5% rating them as good or excellent. The Edinburgh date is one of those stops, and it follows the same format as the others: a three-hour overview of the UK farming industry and where it's heading.
Over the course of the morning, they'll walk through the big things currently shaping the sector. That means policy changes and legislation, the economics and profits side of things, and the future structure of UK farming and the businesses that service it. It's a broad sweep of the landscape rather than a deep dive into one niche, so it works whether you're running a farm yourself or just work around the industry.

There are a couple of practical things that set these apart from a standard talk. Every delegate gets a comprehensive booklet, which includes a full-colour copy of the presentation and detailed notes to take home. The session also counts as three hours of CPD, so if you're keeping up your professional development, it's a convenient way to tick that box. The seminar is at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, EH28 8NB, on Friday 12 March, 10 am to 1 pm.
