Halloween-themed macabaret night of live music by The TV Casualties, with burlesque host Scarlet Carson, at Bannermans Bar.
The TV Casualties are headlining Bannermans Bar on Wednesday 28 October, a Halloween-themed night called All Hallows Eve Macabaret. It's presented in collaboration with The Edinburgh Rock & Metal Society, and they're billing it as the venue's ultimate Halloween Macabaret.
The TV Casualties are an Edinburgh theatrical horror-punk alt-rock trio who perform as fictional characters from different eras. Their sound mixes punk, thrash and metal, and their sets include crowd-interactive segments and a stage presence built on aliens, blood, skeletons and possessions. They've supported the likes of The Order Of The Fly and Johnny Majestic. The Moshville Times described them as 'punk-influenced' if by 'influenced' you mean 'on crack' and 'thrash metal meets punk meets sixteen cans of monster and a healthy dose of Ritalin'.
They're not the only ones on the bill. Burlesque host Scarlet Carson, known for her dark gothic themes, is the special guest for the night, and the band is supported by Voodoo Twins and The Brilliance Of 4 Past Midnight. The whole thing runs from 7:30pm to 11pm at Bannermans Bar, 202 Cowgate in the Old Town. It's an 18+ night.
