Live tribute to The Beatles recreating their studio recordings from 1966 to 1970 with a band and live strings and brass.
Across The Universe plays The Queen's Hall on Saturday 7 November, with the show starting at 7:00pm. It's a tribute to The Beatles' studio years from 1966 to 1970, the period when they stopped touring and focused entirely on the recording studio. That stretch produced some of the most groundbreaking work in popular music history, in terms of songwriting, recording techniques and the way it pushed pop into different musical genres.
Many of those recordings were never intended to be played live. The show brings them to the stage with a focus on detail and accuracy, prioritising musical authenticity over spectacle: no wigs, no costumes, just a live band and orchestra with world-class orchestrations from live strings and brass. It's billed as a must-see for any Beatles fan.
