30s & 40s Singles Night | Love at First Sign

Love at First Sign are hosting a singles night for people in their 30s and 40s at The Alchemist on George Street, on Wednesday 18 November, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. It's strictly for over-30s, so you'll be in a room with people in your own age bracket rather than a mixed crowd.

The night works differently from a typical dating app. They describe it as an astrology-powered mixer, and you don't need to know anything about astrology to take part. On the night, everyone uses the Cosmic Fusion App to skip the small talk and explore compatibility on the fly. Icebreaker activities run throughout the evening, and there's optional Cosmic Speed Dating for those who want it, so you can move at your own pace.

There's also a monthly 'Cosmic Dip' prize draw. If you hit a compatibility score of 85% or more with another attendee, you both earn an extra entry into the draw. It's a bit of a side-game that runs alongside the meeting, and it's something you can keep in the back of your mind while you're chatting.

Tickets are £20, down from £25, or you can bring a friend and get two for £30, which is down from £44. The night runs from 7:00pm to 9:30pm at The Alchemist George Street, 51 George St, Edinburgh EH2 2HT.
