This Is Lorelei, the solo project of Nate Amos, performs live at the Summit Music Hall in Denver.
This Is Lorelei plays the Summit Music Hall on Saturday, October 24, with Colin Miller opening. It's the solo project of Nate Amos, who also fronts Water From Your Eyes.
Amos first came up in Chicago, where he moved in his early twenties and put out hundreds of albums and EPs before relocating to New York. For a long time, that was the way he worked—a steady stream of recordings rather than a single, focused release. His 2024 full-length, Box for Buddy, Box for Star, changed that. It was his first intentionally written solo album, and it centers on his newfound sobriety, told through a tongue-in-cheek take on musical personas. The record became a critical and word-of-mouth success, and it eventually grew into a deluxe version featuring covers and collaborations from MJ Lenderman, Hayley Williams, Jeff Tweedy, and Cameron Winter. He's described as a genre-agnostic polymath, and his songs have been covered by many of today's most influential artists.
