Heavy metal band Suicide Silence perform live at the Summit Music Hall as part of their Reminders of Hell Tour, with support from Emmure, Angelmaker and Synestia.
Suicide Silence play Summit Music Hall on Friday, December 4, as part of their Reminders of Hell Tour. They're bringing along Emmure, Angelmaker, and Synestia to open, though the support acts are subject to change.
If you're not familiar with them, Suicide Silence are a Southern California heavy metal band from Corona. They're widely credited with helping define and popularize deathcore, a subgenre they helped usher in with their 2007 debut, The Cleansing. Their 2009 follow-up, No Time to Bleed, broke into the Billboard Top 40, and the group was named Best New Talent at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Since then, they've put out The Black Crown (2011), You Can't Stop Me (2014), and Become The Hunter (2017), and have toured with acts like Korn and Megadeth.
The band's history has its share of heavy moments. Vocalist Mitch Lucker was killed in a motorcycle accident in late 2012, and the group continued with Mark Heylmun on vocals, joined by guests including future frontman Eddie Hermida. They announced their return in October 2013, and this Denver date is part of the Reminders of Hell Tour.
