Post-hardcore concert featuring Jamies Elsewhere, with Drop Dead, Gorgeous and Lower Definition at the Summit Music Hall.
Jamies Elsewhere are playing Summit Music Hall on Saturday, December 12, with Drop Dead, Gorgeous and Lower Definition opening. The show starts at 6 PM at 1902 Blake St in Denver.
Jamies Elsewhere built their following on the heavy, hook-driven post-hardcore of They Said a Storm Was Coming, which hit #7 on the iTunes charts and #29 on the Billboard Heat Seeker charts. Their later album, Rebel-Revive, was recorded and produced by Nick Sampson, with musical guests Tyler Carter, Garret Rapp, DEV, Phil Dryuor and Nick Sampson himself. The band's current lineup is Zach Wasmundt on drums, Matt Scarpelli on guitar, Chance Medeiros on bass and Mike Spearman on keys and programming.
The night doubles as a milestone for one of the support acts: Drop Dead, Gorgeous are celebrating the 20th anniversary of In Vogue. Lower Definition rounds out the bill, so it's a full evening of post-hardcore and rock rather than just a single band on the stage.
