A smaller, quieter farmers market held on S. Gaylord St. in the Washington Park / Old South Gaylord neighborhood, offering local produce and goods.
The Old South Gaylord Farmers Market is back on S. Gaylord St. this Sunday, October 11, from 9 AM. It's one of the neighborhood's quieter, smaller alternatives to the South Pearl Street Farmers Market, and it's better suited to an early wander than a crowd.
The market runs on Sundays from mid-May through October, so this is one of the last chances to catch it before the season wraps. You'll find it on S. Gaylord St. between E. Mississippi and E. Louisiana Avenues in the Washington Park / Old South Gaylord neighborhood.
That location puts you right in the heart of Washington Park, a stretch of Denver where the lake loop fills with runners, dog walkers and coffee-holding power walkers. Pearl Street runs right through the middle, lined with restaurants and coffee shops that punch well above their size, serving big-city food in a very small-town setting. The local pitch for a perfect Saturday starts with a farmers market, ends with omakase and takes in a nap on a picnic blanket along the way.
