Symphonic concert with a chorus and high-definition visuals recreating the music of the NieR video game series, conducted by Eric Roth.
NieR: Orchestra Concert comes to Bellco Theatre on Saturday, November 14, presented by AWR Music Productions and SQUARE ENIX. It's a new production for the NieR series, following NieR:Orchestra Concert 12024 [the end of data], and it brings the series' music to life with a full symphony orchestra and chorus. The compositions are by Keiichi Okabe, and they'll be performed alongside high-definition visuals projected on a giant screen.
There's more to this than just a concert. Series director Yoko Taro wrote an original narrative that expands the story in a cinematic way, and the show weaves in episodes from the 'Pearl Harbor Descent Operation', the prequel story to NieR:Automata. So if you've spent time with the games, you'll recognize the music, but the night adds new story and visuals to it.
On stage, Eric Roth conducts the orchestra and chorus, with vocalists Emi Evans and J'Nique Nicole. The performance also features recorded recitations by Yui Ishikawa (No.2), Reina Tanaka (No.4), Mio Hanana (No.21), and Chihira Mochida (No.16), so the voices from the games will be part of the evening.
