Hip-hop duo Clipse and rapper J.I.D perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with opening support from Samara Cyn.
Clipse and J.I.D are playing Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Thursday, November 12, with Samara Cyn opening. It's a double bill that puts two different generations of hip-hop on the same stage, and they've actually worked together: Clipse appear on the track "Community" from J.I.D's 2025 album, God Does Like Ugly.
Clipse are coming off their Grammy-winning comeback album, Let God Sort Em Out, which Pharrell Williams produced. That record followed a fully sold-out tour in 2025, so they're arriving here with a lot of momentum behind them. J.I.D brings his own recent run to the bill: The Forever Story, his 2022 album, was widely received as a modern classic, and God Does Like Ugly earned a Grammy nomination. Between the two of them, the night covers a wide stretch of the genre's recent years.
Samara Cyn opens the show. She's been cited as one of the fastest-emerging new voices in hip-hop, so she's a good one to catch early in her run. With her on the bill, the night starts with a new voice before moving into the established names.
