Evening Two talk by Stacey Abrams, with 55 minutes of remarks followed by a 35-minute Q&A, at Bellco Theatre.
Stacey Abrams takes the stage at Bellco Theatre on Wednesday, November 4, as part of the Colorado Speaker Series. It's one of the stops in their Evening Two season, which they describe as featuring some of the most noteworthy, relevant and accomplished individuals in the world. If you've followed her work in politics and law, you know the kind of voice she brings to the podium.
One thing to keep in mind is that this isn't just a speech. The series follows a set format for every evening: 50 to 55 minutes of prepared remarks from the speaker, followed by 30 to 35 minutes of Q&A drawn from questions submitted by the audience. That means you'll get a full presentation first, and then a good half-hour of her responding to the room. If you're the type who likes to hear the follow-up as much as the main talk, that second half is where the night really opens up.
There's also a community side to this that goes beyond the night itself. Subscribing patrons are invited into a following community, with an exclusive online forum where they can discuss the topics raised at each performance and offer feedback. It's less of a one-and-done event and more of a conversation that keeps going after the lights come up.
