Tony Award-winning best musical about a chance encounter that sparks connection, adventure, and love, presented on its first National Tour.
Maybe Happy Ending plays the Buell Theatre from August 18 to 29, 2027, as part of its first National Tour. The show is a musical with music and lyrics by Will Aronson and Hue Park, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Arden, who also helmed Parade.
It's a story about Oliver and Claire, two strangers whose chance encounter sparks an unexpected adventure and shows them what it means to be human, even if they aren't. The production swept the major Best Musical awards, taking home six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and picking up the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Musical and the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Musical. Critics like Jesse Green at The New York Times, Rex Reed at the Observer, and Robert Hofler at The Wrap have all written about it.

This Denver run is one of the stops on the show's first National Tour, so it's the same production that won those awards making its way across the country. It runs about an hour and 40 minutes with no intermission, which means you're in and out in under two hours without a break in the middle. The Buell Theatre is part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) in downtown Denver's Arts Complex, so it's right in the middle of the city's theater district. The run goes from August 18 through August 29, 2027.
