A holiday concert featuring Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas classics performed by 15 musicians with multimedia effects.
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas is coming to the Buell Theatre on December 18 and 19, 2026. It's a national touring production, so it's one of those holiday shows that hits different cities every year, and this time it's landing right in the middle of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, at 14th and Curtis in the downtown Arts Complex.
The show is built around the music of Grammy Award winner Chip Davis, who created the Mannheim Steamroller sound. On stage, 15 musicians play more than 20 instruments, and the set carries the group's Christmas classics in that distinctive style. It's staged in an immersive yet intimate setting with multimedia effects running throughout, so it's as much about the visuals as it is about the music.
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas has been around for more than 40 years, and it's often described as America's favorite holiday tradition. That's a lot of years of the same sound, and for a lot of people, that's exactly why it worksβit's the same holiday music they've come back to for decades. If you've heard the records but never seen it live, this is the touring version of that sound.
